To facilitate and promote the procedure for registration of cosmetic products, Ministry of Health (commonly referred as βMOHβ) releases a new directive for the business owner of pharmaceutical manufacturing institution, pharmaceutical import-export institution, representative office of foreign pharmaceutical manufacturing institution, cosmetic manufacturing institution, and cosmetic import-export institution herein set forth βDirective No. 5852 To Facilitate and Promote the Procedure For Registration of Cosmetic Products at Ministry of Health.β dated 2 December 2024, (βDirective No. 5852β) to submit an application in hard copy at the MOH.
From 02 December 2024 onwards, the MOH allows the submission of hard copies at the same time as the application for registering cosmetics in the online system CamPORS, with the following hard copies of documents:
- Cover Letter confirming the Application ID number and the name of the cosmetic product obtained from the system;
- Payment Slip;
- Resolution on the authorization to operate a pharmaceutical import-export institution, a cosmetic import-export institution, a representative office of a foreign pharmaceutical manufacturing institution within a validity (copy);
- Free Sale Certificate or Acknowledged Cosmetic Notification in ASEAN (Original or Notarized); and
- Letter of Authorization (Original or Notarized).
The business owner shall exercise effectively and respectively this Directive No. 5852 from 02 December 2024 onwards.
