Sophealeak Ing is founding partner of ANANT Law Firm and the Firm’s Practice Leader for Real Estate & Construction, Energy & Natural Resources, and Infrastructure, Transport & Logistics.  He advised on some of Cambodia’s largest development and infrastructure projects, including mixed-use developments, retail malls, luxury hotels, special economic zones (SEZs), medical facilities, and energy infrastructure.

His practice includes asset due diligence and acquisitions, landholding structures, complex real estate financing (including trust structures), FIDIC-based construction agreements, commercial and industrial long-term leases, hotel management agreements, and business licensing. He is also an expert in agro-industrial businesses and economic land concessions. He has advised clients in rubber plantations and forest management projects from regional countries, Japan, the United States, and Europe, including due diligence, asset acquisitions, and regulatory and environmental compliance.

He also has extensive experience in energy projects in Cambodia, covering both conventional (notably coal-fired) and renewable energy (hydropower and solar), advising on market entry, regulatory compliance, operational matters, project development, and financing structures.

He is active in regulatory initiatives with the Cambodian government in the areas of real estate, construction, environment, mining, and tourism & hospitality. He has worked closely with government agencies, various ministries, and international development partners, including the World Bank, IFC (World Bank Group), and Agence Française de Développement (AFD).

Before founding ANANT Law Firm, he was one of the three founding partners of Bun & Associates (2007–2023).
